Responsibilities

  • Exceed Sales Quota through the direct management and leadership of a high-performance sales team.
  • Maintain a strong focus on expanding and growing the business.
  • Cooperate and collaborate with all surrounding team resources including Business Development Managers, fellow Region Managers, Sales Specialists, Product Marketing, Industry Segment Managers, and Channel Partners.
  • Recruit and build a highly motivated, results-oriented sales team that aligns with company objectives, goals, and culture.
  • Personally develop and maintain senior-level customer relationships.
  • Prioritize time on high-impact activities that enable, train, develop, and grow the team.
  • Assist all sales team members in their understanding and use of a well-defined sales process.
  • Ensure the consistent use of the CRM system (sales funnel, contact management, activity logging, leads, etc.) and all other communication and productivity tools.
  • Maintain focus on Key Performance Indicators to ensure sales and business development objectives are met.
  • Consistently coach all members of the team by regularly attending field customer visits and other activities.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of combined sales management/sales experience of complex, technical products (RF/Test and Measurement experience is a plus).
  • BSEE (or equivalent).
  • An understanding of trending electronic industry technologies, standards, and applications (particularly RF/Wireless).
  • A strong team player who is creative, goal-oriented, customer-focused, and an effective negotiator.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the sales region in addition to some national and international travel.
  • Embraces and thrives in an environment of change, especially with respect to new technology such as emerging communication and collaboration tools.
  • Brings innovative thinking and creative problem-solving skills to all situations.
  • Must reside in the US and have valid US work authorization.
