Responsibilities
- Perform work according to standard accounting practices while processing and completing month-end processes, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Support assigned region in areas of accounting and finance within and outside of the month-end close process
- Support compliance initiatives
- Maintains high degree of discretion when working with confidential financial data
- Interact with branch operations to include branches audits, region compliance, and attending MBR's
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of financial functions with each area
- Identifies potential issues and implements appropriate resolution strategies
- Maintain Purchase Card logs for approval and audit compliance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
