Shift: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

About the role

The Respiratory Therapist is a clinical professional who utilizes the department's scope of services to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as an integral member of the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Delivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of the physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers, or the board, functioning in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
• Performs diagnostic testing and emergency care/adult critical care.

Requirements

• Active RRT (Respiratory Therapy License)
• Active NBRC Credential for RRT
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification
• NRP (Neonatal) certification – within 6 months of hire
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) certification
• PALS (Pediatric) certification – Preferred

Qualifications

• Technical/Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy – Required
• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy – Preferred
• Minimum 6 months of respiratory-specific experience
