About the role
The Refurbisher performs a series of operations to prepare fixtures for suitable use during the coating process.
Responsibilities
- Using small hand tools, power hand tools, and supplies, disassemble, refurbish, and reassemble fixtures and baffles.
- Follow work instructions, Manufacturing Standard Procedures (MSPs), and verbal instructions from the Production Supervisor.
- Load, activate, and unload Plasma Etch Systems (Indy).
- Dip rinse fixtures in Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) Solution (Indy).
- Refurbish AP reservoirs per MSPs (Clear Lake).
- Change IPA/Water rinse and 100% recirculating systems beds, filters, and solvents per MSPs (Clear Lake).
- Service PMs on vacuum ovens (Clear Lake).
- Fill all Microsoap and IPA bottles; stock all work areas with paper towels and razor blades (Clear Lake).
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
- Adhere to Plant and Corporate Safety Policies.
- Assist in the final inspection of fixture sets.
- Clean and/or perform basic maintenance on coating equipment.
- Assist in the coating process prep work.
- Assemble/prepare new fixturing.
- Perform shipping, receiving, and other related duties.
- Assist in other areas or perform other duties as required by fluctuating business needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general educational development diploma (GED).
Skills
- Communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to read, write, and follow written or verbal instructions.
- Able to speak, read, and write English.
- High degree of manual dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination.
- Ability to perform basic math functions.
