About the role
Refugee Ministry Workers will minister to displaced peoples including Syrian, Afghan, Somali, Iraqi, and Rohingya refugees living in Phoenix, AZ. The team has hundreds of connections and offers services like English classes, sewing classes, and tutoring for kids.
Responsibilities
- Live in community with refugees
- Provide personalized ministry addressing needs such as transportation, job acquisition, and homework help for kids
- Share Jesus stories with refugee friends
- Facilitate disciple-making relationships among unreached people groups
Requirements
- A passion for living among refugees and unreached people groups
- A vision to work on a team with others
- A learning attitude
- The desire to be part of transformation among unreached people groups
