About the role
The Waldinger Corporation is seeking a full-time, experienced Rack Refrigeration Technician.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and install appliance reach-ins and ice machines.
- Measure and adjust super heat, refrigerant pressures, and temperature controls.
- Apply knowledge of alternate refrigerants for retrofit repairs on refrigeration equipment.
- Maintain positive customer relations internally and externally.
- Attend periodic training classes.
- Be available for on-call duty.
- Participate in monthly safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Handle physical workload.
- EPA certified.
- Clean driving record.
- Clear background check and drug screen.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC/R repair.
- Knowledge of the principles of refrigeration and related controls.
- Strong understanding of measuring and adjusting super heat, refrigerant pressures, and temperature controls.
- Ability to understand the use and application of alternate refrigerants for retrofit repairs.
- Positive customer relations skills.
- Availability for on-call duty.
- Attendance at periodic training classes.
- Adherence to safety policies and procedures.
- Physical work capacity.
- EPA certification.
- Clean driving record.
- Background check and drug screen clearance.
