Refrigeration Technician

In This Role

• Ensure the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of ammonia refrigeration equipment throughout the facility.
• Manage PSM, CMMS, EPA and all relevant refrigeration documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and motor controls, bio chillers, compressors, fans, pumps, freezers, etc.
• Manage and work on preventive maintenance programs to help improve performance, reduce refrigerant loss, and control expenses.
• Respond to emergency calls as needed.
• Maintain and monitor leak detection system.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience with ammonia-based refrigeration systems.
This is a 3rd shift position (10pm – 6am).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with ammonia-based refrigeration systems.
• Experience with PSM, CMMS, EPA and related refrigeration documentation.
