About the role

Refrigeration Maintenance is responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all refrigeration and HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system operations
• Keep required logs
• Examine and troubleshoot problems
• Repair equipment
• Complete preventive maintenance (P.M.’s)
• Control start-up and shut-down systems
• Inform supervisor or fore-person of potential problems
• Participate in PSM and RMP programs
• Follow all OSHA, EPA, and IIAR standards
• Follow all company policies
• Work around ammonia, Freon, CO₂, and natural gases
• Learn to operate old and new equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned (e.g., paint, clean)
• Work is assigned by others and performed under frequent direction or review, with occasional direction depending on the work or project

Requirements

• Must be able to walk and stand for the duration of the shift and have workable use of both hands
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, twist, push, pull, and reach
• Ability to climb stairs
• Willingness to work in a warm to cold/wet environment

Schedule

Full-time, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Pay

• Competitive wages starting at $24.00/hour (includes $1.00 perfect attendance incentive)
• $2.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts
