Refrigeration Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Detect and resolve issues with commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and respond to service calls at customer sites.
• Inspect refrigeration equipment and identify operational problems.
• Work with AC/DC electrical systems and HVAC/R components.
• Keep detailed records of service activities and submit reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients about repair status and suggestions.
• Travel frequently within the tri-state area to fulfill service obligations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of refrigeration field service experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems.
• Proficient in working with HVAC/R equipment and components.
• Ability to travel up to 75 miles daily within the tri-state area.
• Reside within a 25-mile radius of either New Haven, CT or Newark, NJ.

Nice to Have

• D2 License (preferred but not required).
• Experience with commercial and/or industrial refrigeration systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
