About the role
Develop and maintain technical resources for all divisions and provide leadership in all technical service functions throughout the assigned territory (Atlanta, Georgia and surrounding areas), working in conjunction with the Service Manager to maintain consistency.
Responsibilities
- File reports to update Service Manager of concerns and overall work completed or needed.
- Provide leadership in all technical service functions throughout the territory while collaborating with the Service Manager.
- Work directly with territory sales staff and end users to assist with technical support issues.
- Act as a liaison between service providers and end users in special circumstances to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Present Field Service training on all True product lines, including commercial and residential products and service procedures, to current service providers.
- Improve the service network by adding or removing service providers as needed, in collaboration with the sales staff.
- Serve as the technical liaison between the territory and world headquarters.
- Collaborate with the world headquarters Technical Service Team to troubleshoot, report, and resolve technical problems, including making necessary changes to cabinets in warehouses.
Requirements
- Certificate from a college, technical school, or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years of commercial refrigeration field service experience.
- HVAC-Refrigeration certificate preferred.
- Must live within one hour of a major airport.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory for field service training and trade shows.
- Willingness to travel to company headquarters for technical training.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and stress-tolerant.
- Professional, friendly, and strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Service-oriented with a high focus on customer service.
- Initiative-driven and service-minded.
- Reliable and honest.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Able to present to small or large groups.
- Bilingual is a plus.
Schedule
9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Company-paid background check and physical required upon hire.
