How Will You Make An Impact

• Gather pertinent information from patients, insurance carriers, financial counselors, and other staff to confirm the patient's financial obligations for services.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain required authorizations when necessary.
• Document referrals, communications, action and other data in an EMR system.
• Generate and distribute all applicable forms, notifications and paperwork.

Requirements

The Insurance Referral Authorization Coordinator is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing all referrals for all contracted insurances and organizations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in using an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
