Overview

Processes all referral requests for the practice, including in-office and telephone requests for primary care physician to specialist physician referrals, in accordance with individual office protocol while following mandated insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Processes all referral requests for the practice, including in-office and telephone requests for primary care physician to specialist physician referrals, in accordance with individual office protocol while following mandated insurance guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Work Experience: 2 years of related experience, preferably in a medical office setting, required. Associate's degree can be substituted in lieu of experience requirement.
• Licenses and Certifications: None required.
