Red Onion Cashier (Part-time)

About the role

The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum, Food & Beverage Department is seeking a Red Onion Cashier to join our team. The position is part-time, non-exempt, and reports to the Restaurant and Banquet Manager (Restaurant Manager).

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily food/beverage specials to guests consistently.
• Look for opportunities to make recommendations and upsell products.
• Increase guest satisfaction and average revenue per check.
• Provide excellent customer service to bar patrons using exemplary customer service skills.
• Operate a register, balance the drawer, handle cash properly, and make daily deposits.
• Adhere to company Opening/Closing procedures, report to work promptly, and dress according to company standards.
• Maintain health code standards and ensure the bar and dining room are clean and presentable.
• Complete tasks assigned by management staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Flexible availability for opening/closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
• Current ABC license in the State of Tennessee.

Conditions of Employment

• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Opportunity to transition to full-time employment.
• Shifts vary, typically from 8am-6pm.
