The position is listed on behalf of a partner company managing all applications and next steps. A Recurring Remote Production Support Makeup Artist is needed based in the United States. This part-time role supports the on-air appearance of announcers and talent during remote sports productions. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Create natural, polished, and camera-ready makeup looks suitable for HD production.
  2. Match skin tones to appropriate palettes and products for professional on-air results.
  3. Apply, remove, and adjust makeup efficiently based on talent feedback and production requirements.
  4. Style hair to complement each client’s features and on-camera appearance, recommending adjustments when necessary.
  5. Work confidently with a variety of hair textures and lengths, including blow-drying and selecting suitable hair products.
  6. Maintain speed, accuracy, and composure while working under tight production timelines and changing priorities.
  7. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace while ensuring all tools and instruments are properly sanitized.
  8. Build positive professional relationships with announcers, celebrities, hosts, guests, athletes, and other talent.
  9. Work independently with minimal supervision while adapting to remote production schedules, locations, and evolving needs.
  10. Travel to production locations as required and remain available for weekends and holidays based on sporting events and production schedules.

Requirements include:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of freelance makeup artistry or professional makeup artist experience.
  • A cosmetology, aesthetics, or equivalent professional license.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Demonstrated ability to create clean, natural, camera-ready looks suitable for HD production.
  • A strong understanding of complexion matching, makeup application, lighting considerations, and professional on-camera presentation.
  • Experience styling different hair textures and lengths, including blow-drying and selecting suitable hair products.
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to estimate and manage styling time accurately.
  • Ability to work quickly and precisely in time-sensitive, high-pressure production environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the professionalism required to work with talent at all levels.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, particularly when responding to changing remote production needs.
  • Ability to interpret creative direction, address concerns constructively, and use professional judgment and artistic instincts.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a professional environment with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible availability for travel, weekends, holidays, and varying production schedules.

Benefits include:
