Recruitment Specialist-Events

Job Summary

This is a professional position responsible for recruiting, engaging and supporting prospective foster family through community outreach, relationship building and guiding families with event planning and resource development.

Essential Functions

• Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with HFC customers
• Plan and coordinate recruitment activities in the community
• Work with community partners in recruitment efforts
• Perform administrative duties and data entry related to community outreach
• Recruit prospective foster families
• Coordinate with the foster home licensing team and other recruiting/retention efforts
• Provide ongoing support of resources and referrals
• Assist with the coordination of foster parent orientation
• Perform special projects as assigned within designated time frames

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Associate's degree in human services or related field preferred
• Two years of experience working with children and families is preferred
