About the Role
This position will be focused on sourcing and delivering top talent. You will partner with hiring managers to identify, source, and recruit highly qualified candidates within specific departments. This role requires you to be local to New York, NY, and comfortable going into the office 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Assists with the company’s overall recruiting efforts, including on-site recruiting, internet recruiting, working with temporary agencies, and employee referrals.
- Coordinates and conducts new hire onboarding.
- Recruits for WWT’s core business areas, including sales, management, engineering, data center, project management, operations, supply chain, and other positions throughout the company.
- Posts jobs online, screens, organizes, and tracks all applications and resumes within the company’s applicant tracking tool.
- Coordinates and conducts interviews with hiring managers.
- Understands company’s policies and benefits.
- Reviews and pre-qualifies potential candidates.
- Posts jobs on various external job boards, social media, user groups, and universities.
- Proactively researches and evaluates new sourcing ideas and methods to create innovative sourcing strategies.
- Develops passive candidate pipelines through name generation, networking, cold calling, complex internet searches, and research.
- Develops a network of business and candidate contacts.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with active and passive candidates for current or future openings.
- Effectively communicates with management, hiring managers, and other internal staff to determine and meet staffing needs.
- Completes miscellaneous projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, HR, or related field required. A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Recruiting.
- Considerable industry experience sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates is preferred.
- Experience in the core principles, practices, and procedures related to recruiting and staffing.
- Experience engaging with hiring managers on a regular basis.
Skills
- Excellent organizational, follow-up, and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with internal ATS and VMS applications preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $74,520 - $93,150 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs.
