About the role
This is a 6-month contract role with the potential to extend or convert, focused on recruiting for healthcare-related positions and other business lines.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a network of prospective candidates through proactive market research, sourcing, and ongoing relationship management.
- Conduct initial phone screens and communicate role expectations, recruiting processes, company mission, and culture to candidates.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies across multiple business lines and hiring needs.
- Support hiring for healthcare-related roles, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, healthcare associates, customer care, and leadership positions.
- Manage top-of-funnel recruiting activities across multiple requisitions, maintaining organized and timely candidate pipelines.
- Partner with recruiting teams and hiring stakeholders to develop effective sourcing, assessment, and candidate-closing strategies.
- Set appropriate expectations with candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the recruiting process.
- Research talent markets and use data to identify opportunities for improving sourcing strategies and recruiting processes.
- Develop written recruiting plans with clear deliverables, timelines, and tracking mechanisms.
- Prepare qualified candidate slates within established timelines and maintain a consistent recruiting workflow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain strong candidate pipelines.
- Participate in recruiting initiatives and special projects, including evaluating interviewing best practices and supporting talent identification for senior-level openings.
- Demonstrate flexibility when recruiting across different markets and adapting to applicable state regulations.
- Maintain accurate candidate information and activity using contact management and applicant tracking systems.
- Manage a high volume of requisitions, potentially owning 20–30 requisitions simultaneously.
- Work with urgency, attention to detail, organization, and strong follow-through while meeting strict recruiting timelines.
Requirements
- 1+ year of corporate recruiting, search firm recruiting, or recruiting research experience.
- Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years of full-time experience with the company.
- Experience using a contact management system and/or applicant tracking system to source, track, and manage candidates.
- Experience working in a high-volume recruiting environment.
- Strong sourcing and candidate research skills.
- Ability to proactively engage candidates by phone and build relationships with prospective talent.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt sourcing strategies and recruiting approaches based on changing business needs and market conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain compliance with applicable requirements and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare, pharmacy, or other non-technical recruiting experience.
- Experience managing candidates through multiple stages of the recruiting lifecycle, including outreach, assessment, preparation, negotiation, and closing.
- Experience with both high-volume and specialized/niche hiring.
Pay
Pay range for this position is $33.66 – $38.66 per hour. Compensation will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
