Recruiter I

Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite) • Duration: 1-Year Contract

About the role

Amazon is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Recruiter I to support full-cycle recruiting efforts across multiple business teams. This role will partner closely with hiring managers and candidates to deliver an exceptional hiring experience while helping Amazon attract top talent. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned positions.
• Source, screen, and assess candidates through various recruiting channels.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and recruiting priorities.
• Track candidate progress and maintain accurate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Ensure a positive candidate experience and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Support recruiting projects, process improvements, and reporting activities as needed.
• Maintain compliance with company recruiting policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 1+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or human resources experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and recruiting systems/ATS.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments.
• Experience working with stakeholder groups and hiring managers.
• Knowledge of sourcing techniques and candidate engagement strategies.
• Familiarity with HR systems and recruiting metrics.

Pay

$38.60/hour
