Recruiter (Contract)

We're looking for a Recruiter to help us build systems and the team behind this mission during a critical growth phase. You'll partner closely with our HR Manager and hiring managers across the business to attract talent who share our passion. You'll be one of the primary faces of Black Girl Vitamins to candidates.

Responsibilities

• Pipeline & Sourcing: Source and screen candidates across open roles; build and nurture talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Candidate Experience: Design candidate experiences that feel genuine and transparent at every touchpoint; write outreach messages and communication that reflect who we are.
• Employer Brand: Represent Black Girl Vitamins authentically to candidates; build visibility for BGV in talent networks through authentic engagement.
• Interview & Hiring Manager Coordination: Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews; train and guide hiring managers on interview best practices and assessment methods; ensure consistent evaluation across interviewers and reduce bias in hiring decisions; gather feedback and calibrate expectations.
• Offers & Closing: Own offer strategy and close conversations.
• Operations: Manage pre-boarding: background checks, paperwork, first-week logistics; build workflows in Dover; keep Dover updated and accurate; document processes for continuity.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in CPG, consumer goods, wellness, or high-growth environments.
• Strong track record of identifying and closing best-in-class talent.
• Genuinely excited about our mission and energized by being an ambassador for the brand.
• Communicates clearly and confidently with candidates and hiring managers.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments where priorities shift quickly.
• Comfort with sourcing tools and ATS systems (Dover, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Comfortable creating and sharing content to authentically represent our brand.

$50-55/hr
