About the role

The recruiter will handle sourcing and acquisition for Premier HealthCare, an affiliate agency of YAI Network. Premier HealthCare provides medical, dental, mental health, rehabilitation, and specialty care to patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as primary resource and support to leadership and hiring managers regarding recruitment and hiring needs, initiatives, concerns and related inquiries for assigned caseload.
  • Develops a thorough understanding of operations, roles and requirements for assigned recruiting caseload.
  • Partners with hiring managers and applicable program and HR leadership regarding hiring needs and priorities.
  • Creates requisitions in applicant tracking system for approved positions.
  • Advertises and markets open positions and upcoming vacancies using various job boards, careers pages, professional organizations, social media outlets, and other sources or networks.
  • Identifies potential candidate sources and develops relationships with potential partners and networks with schools, professional organizations, community or professional groups, and other recruiters.
  • Engages and attracts applicants via direct calls, emails or messages, sharing information about the organization, its mission and goals, specific programs or initiatives, and benefits of employment.
  • Reviews applicants for posted positions, conducts phone and/or virtual screenings and interviews, and creates sourcing pools for future vacancies.
  • Extends offers of employment to selected candidates and engages candidates and hiring managers throughout the onboarding process.
  • Maintains compliance with all internal and oversight agency processes and procedures, and with all applicable Local, State and Federal requirements.
  • Attends career fairs, virtual interviews, and other recruiting events, participating in presentations, information sessions, or other engagement opportunities.
  • Supports and/or participates in broader HR projects and initiatives, such as those relating to career development, engagement and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or closely related discipline and at least two (2) years of recruiting experience, or
  • High School Diploma or its educational equivalent and at least four (4) years of experience as described above, and
  • Basic understanding of Federal, State and/or local employment laws pertaining to recruiting and hiring in locations applicable to assigned caseload.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build collaborative partnerships with a strong customer-focus and consultative approach with hiring managers and to effectively engage and build rapport with candidates.
  • Highly organized with good time management, record-keeping and follow-up skills, including the ability to appropriately prioritize multiple tasks to meet prescribed timelines.
  • Self-directed and dedicated to attracting and retaining top talent, particularly for challenging or difficult to recruit roles.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate our mission and convey pertinent information regarding positions and hiring processes.
  • Proficiency with computers and electronic systems including Microsoft Office applications, applicant tracking and human capital management systems, web-based recruiting platforms (e.g. Indeed, LinkedIn, other job boards) and Zoom, Teams or related virtual meeting platforms.
  • Ability to report on-site to locations within assigned caseload and/or applicable headquarters on a regular basis and to travel to other locations across assigned region for recruiting-related events, as needed.
  • Ability to meet essential physical demands of position, including the ability to sit for extended periods, lift and carry files or documents weighing up to 10 pounds and move around the office.

Pay

$85,000 to $89,000 annualized

Schedule

Regular office hours, with occasional travel to other locations across assigned region for recruiting-related events, as needed.
