About the role
We are looking for a Recruiter to support hiring and onboarding efforts for a manufacturing environment. This is a Contract position suited for someone who can manage recruiting coordination, maintain accurate HR records, and contribute to a smooth onboarding experience. The role also supports compliance-related documentation and day-to-day administrative tasks that keep hiring operations organized and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Manage job posting activity across recruiting channels and keep applicant tracking information current and organized.
- Schedule interviews, communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, and help create a positive experience from initial contact through offer stage.
- Carry out pre-employment steps such as reference checks, background reviews, and other required screening activities.
- Draft and distribute offer documentation, onboarding packets, and other employment-related materials for selected candidates.
- Assist with orientation logistics and onboarding tasks to help new employees transition into the organization successfully.
- Maintain personnel files and HR documentation, ensuring records are complete, accurate, and handled with confidentiality.
- Update employee information in HR systems and process changes related to status updates, transfers, and separations.
- Support compliance efforts by assisting with I-9 documentation, audit preparation, record retention, and requested reporting or spreadsheet creation.
Qualifications
- At least 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in high-volume or entry-level hiring environments.
- Background in full cycle recruiting, candidate sourcing, applicant tracking systems, and onboarding support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with HRIS or recruiting platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors HCM, Employee Central, Workday, or similar systems is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for candidate interaction and internal coordination.
- Ability to work with sensitive employee information using sound judgment and discretion.
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
