About the role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Recruiter based in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruiting processes across technical and non-technical positions while partnering closely with hiring managers and talent operations teams.
- Influence hiring strategies, improve candidate experiences, and contribute directly to the growth of a high-performing organization.
- Leverage modern sourcing techniques, recruiting tools, and strong market knowledge to identify and engage top candidates.
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for technical and non-technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, offer management, and closing candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, develop effective sourcing strategies, and provide regular updates on search progress.
- Identify and engage high-quality passive candidates through creative sourcing methods and modern recruiting platforms.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.
- Conduct candidate assessments and recruiter screenings to evaluate skills, experience, cultural alignment, and role fit.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through proactive communication, transparency, responsiveness, and thoughtful follow-up.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, interview feedback, and recruiting data using applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.
- Collaborate with recruiting operations teams to improve interview processes, hiring efficiency, and onboarding experiences.
- Provide market insights, process recommendations, and ideas to continuously enhance talent acquisition practices.
- Represent the organization professionally and authentically throughout all candidate interactions.
Requirements
- Experienced recruiter with strong sourcing capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping organizations build exceptional teams.
- Proven experience recruiting both technical and non-technical professionals, including software engineering talent.
- Strong sourcing expertise with the ability to identify, attract, and close passive candidates.
- Experience managing multiple simultaneous searches while maintaining organization and delivering high-quality results.
- Strong understanding of recruiting best practices, candidate engagement strategies, and talent market trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust with candidates and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and execute with minimal supervision.
- Strong sense of urgency combined with sound judgment and attention to detail.
- A collaborative, low-ego mindset with a focus on team success and continuous improvement.
- Genuine passion for recruiting and a desire to grow as an individual contributor.
- Experience with modern recruiting tools such as Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Experience recruiting within defense technology, government contracting, national security, or candidates requiring security clearances is a plus.
