About The Role

We're looking for a high-energy, curious, and relentlessly resourceful Recruiter to help us hire the exceptional handypeople who power our service across the country.

This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit behind a screen and wait for applications to roll in. It's for someone who lights up at the challenge of finding great people, building the system to scale it, and using technology to make the whole thing faster and smarter.

What You'll Own

• Run a full-cycle recruiting process to hire 10+ handypeople per month nationally
• Build and maintain a healthy, high-volume candidate pipeline through creative sourcing
• Implement AI-powered screening and outreach tools to scale the funnel and reduce time-per-hire
• Identify new sourcing channels and experiment relentlessly to find what works best for tradespeople
• Own the candidate experience: fast, warm, and professional from first contact to first day

What You'll Do Day to Day

• Source candidates and screen resumes across Indeed, Craigslist, and beyond
• Keep candidates engaged and excited through every step of the process
• Draft and maintain job postings; keep our ATS (Ashby) clean and accurate
• Cookinate interviews, collect feedback, and keep hiring managers aligned
• Build and run AI workflows with Claude to automate repetitive sourcing and screening tasks
• Support offers and onboarding; close the loop on every person you bring in

• No experience required. We'll teach you the craft.

Work Setup and Compensation

• Location: Oakland, CA. Hybrid, 4 days/week in office.
• Employment Type: Full-time.
• Compensation: $65,000 plus benefits and stock options.
