The Opportunity
You Will
- Own full recruiting cycles — with a focus on early-career / entry-level hires
- Source and engage high-potential candidates (new grads, 1–3 years’ experience) to build robust pipelines.
- Conduct a high volume of candidate screens daily, while maintaining consistency and candidate experience.
- Partner with hiring managers and the recruiting team to plan hiring strategies, manage priorities, and deliver results.
- Monitor recruiting metrics, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.
- Serve as an ambassador of our employer brand — design outreach campaigns, referral initiatives, etc.
- Experiment with and adopt modern recruiting tools (automation, AI-assisted sourcing, outreach personalization).
You Should Have
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of recruiting experience (in-house or agency), ideally with some exposure to high volume hiring.
- Exceptional organization skills; ability to track many parallel processes without dropping balls.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills — you’ll represent Flexport to many early-career candidates.
- Detail orientation, especially in managing data, candidate handoffs, and feedback loops.
- Comfort working with metrics and data — you’ll use them to optimize your work.
- A growth mindset — you enjoy learning, adapting, and improving processes.
- Experience with sourcing automation tools, personalization of outreach, or employer branding initiatives.
