About the role

Hiring multiple Recruiters for a large tech company in Austin, TX. This Recruiter I position focuses on high-volume, top-of-funnel recruiting and sourcing for a variety of job families, including non-technical, hardware, data engineering, and software development roles.

Responsibilities

  • Source and attract high volumes of candidates for a wide range of job families, including non-technical, hardware, data engineering, and software development roles.
  • Focus on top-of-funnel recruiting activities, ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for multiple teams and functions.
  • Proactively identify and engage passive candidates, especially for niche and more complex roles, rather than relying solely on inbound applications.
  • Conduct candidate outreach using various tools and platforms to generate interest and maintain ongoing communication.
  • Perform initial phone screens to assess candidate fit, interest, and qualifications against role requirements.
  • Collaborate regularly with recruiting peers, including corporate and agency-experienced recruiters, to share insights and align on hiring strategies.
  • Interact with recruiting management and hiring teams within the functions you support to understand hiring needs and priorities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate data in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruiting tools.
  • Generate and deliver regular recruiting reports and metrics, contributing to a data-driven approach to hiring.
  • Meet weekly and monthly productivity and hiring targets, demonstrating strong execution and adherence to performance metrics.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and recruiter ramp programs to continuously improve skills and performance.
  • Demonstrate ownership of assigned requisitions while primarily taking direction from a supervisor or manager.
  • Uphold high standards in candidate experience and recruiting quality, aligning with leadership principles focused on delivering results and maintaining high standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) in a relevant field or area of specialty.
  • 3–5 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience for the targeted candidate profile.
  • Proven experience in passive candidate recruiting, with a focus on sourcing and engaging candidates for niche and more complex roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume sourcing and recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines and recruiting workflows.
  • Proficiency with Excel for tracking, reporting, and analyzing recruiting data and metrics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders clearly and professionally.
  • Familiarity with commonly used recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Able to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines while working under immediate supervision.
  • Able to manage multiple requisitions and candidate pipelines simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling candidate information and documentation.

Essential Skills

  • Experience recruiting within technology companies or Fortune 500 organizations.
  • Nice to have corporate and agency recruiting environments, with the ability to adapt to different stakeholder expectations.
  • Technical sourcing experience, particularly for corporate and technology roles.
  • Familiarity with advanced internal recruiting tools and AI-powered sourcing platforms.
  • Ability to pivot quickly between different job families and changing hiring priorities.
  • Demonstrated success working in a data-oriented, metrics-driven recruiting function.
  • Alignment with leadership principles focused on delivering results and maintaining high standards in recruiting.
  • Willingness to participate in and benefit from structured recruiter ramp training and onboarding programs.

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
