Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for approximately 30–40 requisitions at any given time, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business, competitive landscape, and overall strategy to enhance recruiting effectiveness and strengthen partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Human Resources and hiring managers to drive the recruitment process, set clear expectations, and maintain consistent internal and external communication.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, understand their functions and key goals, and proactively partner with them to determine current and future talent needs.
  • Cultivate and leverage a strong external network to create partnerships that provide a pipeline of key talent for current and future hiring needs.
  • Meet and consistently achieve weekly and monthly recruiting metrics and performance targets.
  • Recruit in adherence with OFCCP regulations and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable guidelines.
  • Log all candidate notes, activities, and actions in the Applicant Tracking System in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Coordinator with onboarding-related matters when necessary to ensure a smooth candidate transition.
  • Provide ad hoc recruiting and reporting support to Talent Acquisition leadership and hiring managers upon request.
  • Escalate urgent matters to the appropriate parties, including Talent Acquisition leadership, hiring managers, and other HR functions, when needed.
  • Support other administrative duties and special projects as assigned within the talent acquisition function.
  • Focus recruiting efforts on entry-level and core laboratory healthcare roles such as lab technicians, lab assistants, accessioners, and related positions.
  • Conduct high-volume sourcing activities, including cold calls and outreach, to build robust candidate pipelines.
  • Partner directly with hiring managers to understand requisitions, define role requirements, and align recruiting strategies with business needs.
  • Perform phone screenings to assess candidate fit, experience, and interest, and move qualified candidates through the hiring process.
  • Manage basic offer processes, ensuring clear communication with candidates and coordination with hiring managers.
  • Work independently with minimal hand-holding, proactively seeking information from colleagues and hiring managers and solving problems as they arise.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative recruiting environment while maintaining ownership of individual requisitions.

Essential Skills

  • High-volume recruiting experience, with the ability to manage approximately 30–40 requisitions at any given time and potentially 50–60 requisitions as volume increases.
  • Full cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • A strong understanding of the requisition process and basic recruiting principles, including sourcing, cold calling, phone screening, and offer facilitation.
  • The ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and Human Resources to understand role requirements and drive the recruitment process.
  • The capability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve without extensive guidance.
  • The comfort with building and maintaining external networks to support ongoing talent pipelines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to maintain consistent internal and external communication and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • An attention to detail and accuracy in logging notes and actions in an Applicant Tracking System.
  • The ability to meet and achieve weekly and monthly recruiting metrics on a consistent basis.
  • The commitment to recruiting in adherence with OFCCP regulations and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Experience or comfort recruiting for entry-level roles such as lab technicians, lab assistants, accessioners, and other core laboratory healthcare professionals.
  • A strong work ethic, with the ability to follow processes, stay focused, and handle high call and activity volumes.
  • Soft skills that support relationship-building, collaboration, and a proactive, go-getter attitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs), Medical Technologists (MTs), Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS), healthcare technicians, histotechnicians, histotechnologists, phlebotomists, and other core laboratory healthcare professionals.
  • Approximately 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience is highly valued, though candidates with 1–10 years of experience are considered if they understand the requisition process and can perform sourcing and screening effectively.
  • Experience in staffing agency recruiting is highly desirable, as it aligns well with the pace and expectations of this role.
  • Experience in a corporate recruiting environment is also acceptable, provided the candidate demonstrates strong process orientation and initiative.
  • Familiarity with Workday or similar Applicant Tracking Systems is preferred, though not required.
  • Experience with cold calling, proactive sourcing, and building candidate pipelines for high-volume roles.
  • The ability to be groomed and developed within a talent acquisition team, with openness to feedback and growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a metrics-driven environment and to consistently meet performance targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor that align with a collaborative, team-oriented recruiting culture.

This is a Contract position based out of Bridgewater, NJ.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.67/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
