About the role

Partner closely with HR leadership, warehouse managers, and operational teams across the country. Support both external candidates and current employees pursuing full-time opportunities within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of requisitions focused primarily on converting contingent warehouse employees into full-time positions.
  • Recruit for additional hourly frontline roles supporting Last Mile operations.
  • Maintain regular communication with employees and managers through phone calls and Microsoft Teams.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand current staffing needs and build pipelines for future hiring.
  • Manage the recruiting process from sourcing and interview coordination through offer generation, negotiation, and acceptance.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within the applicant tracking system.
  • Help create a smooth, responsive, and positive experience for both internal and external candidates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of professional or military experience.
  • At least two years of professional recruiting experience.
  • Recent experience managing high-volume recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience recruiting hourly, frontline, warehouse, or operational employees.
  • Familiarity with Workday or another leading applicant tracking system.
  • Experience within transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, or a related industry is preferred.
  • Strong direct-sourcing skills, including internet research, candidate outreach, and cold calling.
  • Confidence advising business partners while remaining professional and focused in an evolving or ambiguous environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and stakeholders.
  • Qualifications

    Open to candidates based in Charlotte, NC, or Chicago, IL.
