Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Create and implement activity plans for residents, including small groups, special events, and entertainment.
- Motivate residents for participation in either planned groups or on a one-to-one basis.
- Modify programs to meet individual resident needs and encourage participation.
- Provide escort if necessary and maintain participation logs for programs.
- Attend meetings as required and participate in educational programs and in-services as mandated.
- Plan and/or accompany residents on out trips.
- Understand and follow universal precautions and MSDS books.
- Review evaluations on new residents completed by the Manager Recreation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High School or equivalent.
- Experience: N/A.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Public Service License.
- Other: Pushing/pulling wheelchairs, climbing ladders, using push carts for decorations or supplies, extensive standing/walking.
