Join our dynamic team as a Recreational Therapist in Behavioral Health.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote mental health and wellness.
- Utilize creativity and expertise to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation.
- One year experience in RT in mental health setting preferred.
- Certification or eligibility for certification with the National Council of Recreational Therapists.
- Licensure as LRT by North Carolina Board of Recreational Therapists.
- Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).

- Passionate about empowering others and improving quality of life through therapeutic recreation.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement therapeutic recreational programs.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health.
