Recreation Specialist III - Verne Cox Multi-Purpose Center

About the role

The Recreation Specialist III at Verne Cox Multi-Purpose Center is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating recreation programs that promote community health and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recreational programs for diverse age groups
• Evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments
• Collaborate with community partners to enhance service offerings
• Provide leadership and supervision to staff members
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration, Physical Education, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of community health and wellness principles
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
