Recreation Program Manager

About the role

The successful candidate will manage and enhance recreational programs within the community, ensuring they are inclusive and accessible to all members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new recreational programs
• Oversee existing programs to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Collaborate with community partners to expand program offerings
• Engage with residents to gather feedback and improve programs
• Prepare and present budget requests for program funding

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local government processes and regulations
• Experience with program evaluation and assessment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
