About the role
The successful candidate will manage and enhance recreational programs within the community, ensuring they are inclusive and accessible to all members.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new recreational programs
- Oversee existing programs to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Collaborate with community partners to expand program offerings
- Engage with residents to gather feedback and improve programs
- Prepare and present budget requests for program funding
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of local government processes and regulations
- Experience with program evaluation and assessment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
