Recreation Program Aide (Soccer)

Responsibilities

• Maintain the facilities and supervise volunteers.
• Work positively with different populations and build rapport with clients.
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment for participants.
• Give advanced notice if unable to work scheduled shifts.
• Work morning, evening, and weekend hours, based on agreed-upon schedule.
• Aid in field cleanup after recreation activities.
• Assist with program development including Pickleball, Kroc Splash Pond, Summer Camp, Afterschool Program, Youth and Kroc Kids Programs, Corps Programming, Leagues, tournaments, Open Gym Time, Kroc Park Activities, etc.
• Assist with setting up and taking down equipment.
• Participate in camps, clinics, and special events as needed.

Qualifications

• A person of good character.
• Able to follow directions.
• Willing to work a variety of schedules as needed for programming.
• Able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Able to work well with others.
• If driving is part of responsibilities, must have a valid driver's license and pass a Salvation Army 12 passenger driving test.
