Recreation - Pool & Beach Server - Full Time

About the role

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is seeking a Pool and Beach Server who embodies a passion for excellence and enthusiasm. This position offers the opportunity to shape the guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the resort and embodying the Golden Rule in every interaction.

What You’ll Do

• Proactively greet guests, drop off a QR code/menu, introduce yourself, and inform them that you will be taking care of them for the day.
• Accurately describe the pool’s hours of service, offerings, and specials of the day.
• Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item’s origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen/ bar using the resort's Micros.
• Cook up-to-date food & beverage timings and deliver items within the proper timing standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer suggestions that will enhance their experience.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns urgently and appropriately.
• Manage designated section and continuously check in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Detail your area daily to ensure your space is clean and organized as well as ensuring the area is fully stocked with necessary inventory.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks and complimentary meals.
• Complete closing paperwork and accurately tip out the appropriate food runner and bar staff.
• Ensure every interaction is a Forbes 5 Star experience.
• Learn and maintain our Pool and Beach 38 Forbes standards.
• Successfully work as a team to ensure guest experience is a priority.

What To Bring

• Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience is required.
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage.
• Weekend & Holiday availability required.
