Recreation & Life Enrichment Assistant – PRN with Part-Time Potential

NHC HealthCare Scott in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee is seeking a compassionate Life Enrichment Assistant to join our supportive, family-oriented team. About the Role

As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you will help plan and provide engaging daily activities that support the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual well-being of our residents. The right candidate will bring creativity, enthusiasm, compassion, and a genuine desire to make each day meaningful for the seniors we serve.

Responsibilities

• Promote, organize, and lead recreational and life-enrichment programs.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities based on their interests, preferences, and abilities.
• Create engaging experiences that support the different domains of wellness.
• Build positive and respectful relationships with residents and their families.
• Assist with activity documentation, including attendance records, assessments, and progress notes.
• Help prepare activity spaces and gather necessary supplies.
• Work collaboratively with the Life Enrichment team and other center partners.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming, and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to work with and enhance the lives of seniors.
• Compassionate, caring, creative, and energetic personality.
• Reliable with a positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of wellness-based programming in long-term care is preferred.
• One year of experience working with seniors in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required.

Pay

$13 per hour, depending on experience.
