ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with event preparation and on-site support
  • Perform trail maintenance and grooming (including winter grooming)
  • Operate and perform basic maintenance on outdoor equipment
  • Cut and prune trees as needed
  • Perform string trimming and general landscaping tasks such as digging, mowing, debris removal, installing hardscapes, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining tools and equipment.
  • Paint various surfaces as required.
  • Maintain disc gold courses and trails
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to learn through on-the-job-training
  • Prior outdoor labor experience a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Regularly stand and walk for the entire shift
  • Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Reach with hands and arms above shoulders, below waist, and outward
  • Climb or balance
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, crawl
  • Talk or hear
  • Taste or smell
  • Frequently lift/move/push/pull up to 75 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
  • Regularly work near moving mechanical parts
  • Occasionally exposed to cleaning chemicals
  • Noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud
  • Work in a variety of outdoor climates, including hot summers and cold winters, often in rain or snow
  • Operate and work near machinery and equipment that may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, hard hats, and safety glasses
  • Regularly work indoors and outdoors
