Recreation Managers/Director of RecreationResponsibilities
- Proper cash handling procedures to include Point of Sale transactions, balancing daily receipts, balance bank, complete all closing reports and deposits.
- Greet all guests and assist them in the bowling process; to include ringing up each transaction and provide proper shoe sizes, score cards, scoring directions as well as overseeing the lanes for needed repairs.
- Maintain a clean facility and work area.
- Maintain a safe work environment by promoting safe work practices and document any unsafe areas or practices with written documentation and work orders when needed.
- Restock redemption items and tickets in the games.
- Properly assist guests in a prompt and hospitable manner.
- Document needed game repairs and communicates with the Engineering Department and immediate supervisor when games are not working properly.
- Oversee guests and their use of the facilities to ensure safety at all times.
Qualifications
- Personal Skills: Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors. Possess strong hospitality skills while in direct contact with the guests, other staff members and on the phone. Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures. Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care. Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change. Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development. Conducts him\herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times. Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally. Actively listens to others. Conveys company information, decisions, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.
- Physical Requirements: Minimum pulling and lifting of 20 pounds. Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, and manual dexterity. Hearing, writing. speaking. Standing for long periods of time.
