Recreation Assistant (Sports & Recreation)

About the role

The Assistant Instructor provides excellent customer service to guests visiting the sports center and assists with various indoor, outdoor, and health facilities.

Responsibilities

• Make bills and provide information about sports and other necessary hotel services.
• Organize and supervise sports activities such as volleyball, tennis, and table tennis.
• Conduct aqua zumba, aerobics, and aqua gym sessions for guests.
• Lead team-building activities to enhance guest engagement and teamwork.
• Collaborate with the Entertainment and Recreation Manager to plan and execute events.
• Ensure guest safety during sports and fitness activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized Sports Center facility.
• Utilize language skills for effective guest interactions.
• Support other Sports Center team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Intermediate-level proficiency in sports (volleyball, tennis, table tennis).
• Experience in conducting aqua zumba, aerobics, and aqua gym sessions.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR.
• Good command of English. Any other language is an added advantage.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
