Recreation Assistant

Salary Range: $18.70 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Lead group and independent activities for the resident population.
• Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to plan and lead groups
• Able to multi-task and plan for individual needs

Qualifications

• Experience within a skilled nursing environment or working with elderly population (nice to have)
• Experience in Activity programming (nice to have)
• Experience with dementia care or Long-term care (nice to have)
