Recreation Assistant

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Lead group and independent activities for the resident population
• Aid in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs
• Ensure activities align with the resident’s assessment and care plan

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to plan and lead groups
• Multi-tasking and planning for individual needs

Qualifications

• Experience within a skilled nursing environment or working with elderly population
• Experience in activity programming
• Experience with dementia care or long-term care

Pay

The salary range for this position is $18.57-$19.00 per hour. Compensation can vary based on a variety of factors including location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
