Recreation Assistant

Job Summary

We are now hiring a Recreation Assistant to join our team. Salary Range: $$-$$ per hour.

Responsibilities

• Lead group and independent activities for the resident population.
• Aid in the planning, implementation and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to plan and lead groups.
• Able to multi-task and plan for individual needs.

Nice to have

• Experience within a skilled nursing environment or working with elderly population.
• Experience in Activity programming.
• Experience with dementia care or Long-term care.
