Recreation Assistant

Responsibilities

• Complete and follow activity calendars which should have a variety of activities scheduled.
• Participates, organizes, and implements daily social and therapeutic activities and events.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Director, preferred
• Must have experience running and implementing therapeutic programs, activities and events for seniors or physically/ mentally challenged adults in a clinical setting.
• Must be able to work with all disciplines in a challenging multi-cultural environment that target specific behavioral and/or patient groups as needed.
• Proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing, required.
