Recreation Aide Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing recreational programs and activities, including exercise classes, games, and social events
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulations
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
• Collaborate with the recreation team to identify and meet the recreational needs of residents

About the Recreation Aide Role

Recreation Aide Requirements

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Energetic, extremely enthusiastic, creative, takes initiative, works well with a team, enjoys working with elderly people.
• Preferably 1+ years experience working in recreation with the geriatric/adult population.
• Must be a team player with a compassionate, outgoing, and pleasant personality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
