About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Recovery Technician Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Recovery Technician team — ensuring a safe, efficient, and recovery-oriented environment for both clients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and mentor Recovery Technicians in day-to-day tasks, ensuring they receive the support and guidance needed to thrive.
- Manage hiring, onboarding, timecard approvals, and performance evaluations to build a strong, competent team.
- Schedule Recovery Technicians to ensure staffing levels align with all applicable regulations and policies.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with agency policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time, including incident reports, shift reports, and inspection reports.
- Foster a positive, high-performing work environment by modeling SCADD's mission, vision, and values at all times.
- Perform Recovery Technician duties as needed, including:
- Orienting new clients to the facility and reviewing program rules and expectations.
- Completing non-clinical admission paperwork and documentation.
- Screening incoming client property for inappropriate items.
- Managing and coordinating medical, behavioral, emergency, or facility issues quickly and efficiently, notifying the appropriate authority as needed.
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls.
- Monitoring the security of the department regularly.
- Participate in the orientation of new employees and the transfer of knowledge essential to the performance of duties.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Valid and unrestricted Driver's License and CPR Certification.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to trauma-informed care, recovery-oriented practice, and SCADD's values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
