Recovery Room Nurse

Role: PRN Recovery Room Registered Nurse Responsibilities Provide post-anesthesia care for surgical patients in a fast-paced acute care environment.Perform focused assessments, monitor vitals and hemodynamic status.Manage pain, nausea, airway support, and oxygenation.Administer IV medications and ensure safe recovery and discharge readiness.Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams.Follow safety and infection-prevention protocols.Document care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).Provide patient and family education for post-operative recovery. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.Experience in post-anesthesia or acute care nursing preferred.Strong assessment, monitoring, and patient care skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.Knowledge of safety, infection control, and documentation protocols.Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
