About the role:

Recovery Innovations is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Harrington, DE. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive mental health services to individuals and families, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions
• Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
• Participate in staff meetings and training opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Licensed or license-eligible as a Mental Health Professional in Delaware
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
• Experience with crisis intervention and suicide prevention
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Skills:

• Therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
• Understanding of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance abuse
• Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults, and families
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay:

$40,000 - $60,000 annually

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
