Responsibilities
- Contribute to community development initiatives focused on economic recovery in Detroit
- Engage with local stakeholders to identify and address community needs
- Develop and implement strategies to support small businesses and entrepreneurs
- Collaborate with government agencies and non-profits to secure funding and resources
- Advocate for policies that promote equitable access to resources and opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., urban planning, public policy, business administration)
- At least 2 years of experience working in community development or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of local government processes and regulations
- Understanding of social justice issues and their impact on communities

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually
