Responsibilities

• Contribute to community development initiatives focused on economic recovery in Detroit
• Engage with local stakeholders to identify and address community needs
• Develop and implement strategies to support small businesses and entrepreneurs
• Collaborate with government agencies and non-profits to secure funding and resources
• Advocate for policies that promote equitable access to resources and opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., urban planning, public policy, business administration)
• At least 2 years of experience working in community development or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Experience with data analysis and reporting
• Knowledge of local government processes and regulations
• Understanding of social justice issues and their impact on communities

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually
