Friday & Saturday only, 11 pm – 7:30 am.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, etc.).
- One (1) year of full‑time equivalent experience working in a program serving individuals with mental disabilities OR completion of 20 hours of regulated on‑the‑job training within the first year of employment (in addition to standard annual training requirements).
- Valid California Driver's License (required).
- Preferred: Valid California Class “B” Driver’s License.
- Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Required within 90 days of hire: ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
- Required within 90 days of hire: First Aid certification from an approved agency (e.g., American Red Cross).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of clients through physical and verbal interaction.
- Ensure all safety regulations are followed and maintain the facility in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
- Assist with client laundry, household cleaning, and other tasks as needed.
- Drive clients in the company vehicle as requested (added to the Approved Driver list).
- Maintain a high level of customer service, fostering a safe, therapeutic environment for clients, visitors, staff, and physicians.
- Model appropriate behaviors for clients and monitor daily client activities.
- Screen incoming clients/visitors for contraband and inventory all client property.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and control access to the center.
- Answer/direct incoming clients, conduct physical security checks of the center grounds, and respond to fires or other emergencies.
- Maintain vigilance over the general milieu to facilitate quality client care, optimum facility operations, and safety for all.
- Perform duties under direct supervision of the Program Director or designee, with some tasks completed independently.
Division & Program Overview
The position is based in a 16‑bed residential facility offering a short‑term, home‑like environment. The program provides 24/7 intensive treatment as an alternative to hospitalization or urgent care. Clinical services include comprehensive physical/psychological evaluations, mental health counseling, and case management. Residents receive life‑skills and interpersonal training, along with dedicated assistance in locating permanent housing.
