Recovery Coach
Clementine Fairfax, located in Fairfax Station, VA, is a residential treatment program exclusively for adolescents seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. The program supports adolescents and their families on the path to full recovery by providing empathy, education, and support, helping each adolescent replace the eating disorder with healthy skills and a deep understanding of how to live a life that reflects their unique individuality.
About the role
The Full‑Time Recovery Coach will be a key player in integrating and supporting clients through their recovery journey, working closely with the treatment team and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and intervention consistent with each client’s treatment plan.
- Engage clients in developing healthy and appropriate connections with peers and staff.
- Assist in food preparation and set‑up; model and supervise client meals and snacks.
- Participate in therapeutic groups and develop core skills to promote clinical growth.
- Conduct rounds and provide observations.
- Occasionally drive clients off‑site for appointments and activities.
Qualifications
- At least two years of post‑high‑school education; Bachelor’s in Psychology preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting (required in some states).
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a safe driving history.
- Strong communication and client‑relation skills, service orientation, flexibility, and ability to work as a team member.
Pay
$16–$21 per hour, plus overnight and weekend shift differentials.
Schedule
Tuesday – Thursday, 6 am – 6 pm.
