About the Role
Responsible for providing members with prompt and courteous service and assistance, replenishing and stocking merchandise, and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and fully organized.

Responsibilities
- Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
- Replenish, refill, stock, and straighten merchandise; ensure proper signage.
- Keep the sales floor clean, neat, and fully organized.
- Replenish milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food merchandise.
- Fold and organize apparel, books, and other merchandise.
- Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, and display cases; use cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
- Return all returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
- Maintain all club policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Deliver service excellence through all points of contact; resolve and de-escalate member concerns.
- Commit daily to GOLD Member Standards: Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate (GAA).
- Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily (Fast, Friendly, Full, Fresh, Clean).
- Maintain a "Grand Opening Look" daily with all items stocked and promotional plans executed.
- Keep visible and accurate signage; ensure the club is clean and organized inside and out.
- Understand how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for your department.
- See the connection between consistent execution and its positive impact on the business.
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
Requirements
- Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Working Conditions
- Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces.
- Frequently requires bending, climbing, crawling, pulling, reaching, stooping, and climbing ladders/step stools.
- Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds; may require lifting and moving heavy/awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance.
- Requires using a pallet jack to pull and push pallets.
- Frequent exposure to company-authorized cleaning agents.
- Exposure to both indoor and outdoor temperatures, as well as occasional extreme temperatures in freezers and coolers.
Pay
In accordance with Pay Transparency requirements, the compensation range for this position starts at $16.00 per hour. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
