Record to Report Architect - Finance Solution Architect (FP&A)

For our client, we are seeking a Record to Report Architect - Finance Solution Architect (FP&A) to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will lead finance architecture for a major ERP transformation, shaping the future-state operating model and standards for record-to-report processes. You will partner closely with Finance leadership and technical teams to design scalable solutions that support close, consolidation, reporting, and broader finance operations. The position also plays a key advisory role in aligning architecture, compliance, and analytics capabilities with enterprise transformation goals. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Responsibilities Lead the Finance architecture for the transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA. Define the future-state Finance operating model and standards. Design the S/4HANA Finance data model, including the Universal Journal. Govern financial processes, including close, consolidation, and reporting. Serve as a strategic advisor to Finance executives, ensuring alignment with transformation strategy. Establish architectural standards for compliance and scalability. Engage closely with technical teams to ensure integrated solutions. Qualifications 10-15+ years of SAP Finance expertise, particularly in FI, CO, Asset Accounting, CO-PA, and Group Reporting. Proven background in SAP ECC to S/4HANA Finance transformation projects. In-depth understanding of S/4HANA Finance architecture and data structures. Experience designing comprehensive Finance solutions for GL, AP, AR, and related functions. Familiarity with finance controls, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements. Required knowledge of SAP Signavio and SAP Cloud ALM.
